On Sunday 14 April 2013, Ibiza’s style setters and fashionistas converged on the beautiful countryside estate of Agroturismo Atzaro in San Lorenzo, for the first big fashion event of the season. Presented by vintage fashion experts Anisya Sam (founder of Solis Lucrum), the Solis Lucrum Vintage Event was a step back in time and a true style spectacular, featuring one-off and vintage pieces, rare collector’s classics, pre-loved clothing and accessories and a swat team of hair and make-up experts on hand to beautify guests in the style of days gone by. Adding a modern twist to the event was a cardio masterclass, held by the fitness experts of BFit, with participants taking on a Great Gatsby dress code. Only in Ibiza!

Inside Renu’s wardrobe: A love of vintage

Ibiza stylist Renu Kashyap takes us inside her wardrobe (and even gives us a peek into her imagination) to discover her love of vintage fashion.

‘Working at a Dutch fashion magazine in Amsterdam got me to the runway shows in Paris and Milan every season. My jaw would drop at the new collections, I’d get inspired for new shoots, and dream of the potential new additions to my wardrobe,’ she tells us of her career in the fashion industry, with the sense there’s a ‘BUT’ coming. ‘Buuut, I always got truly weak at the knees from a unique vintage find. It’s the hunt for that special item, in good condition and in the right size, that really gets me excited.’ Continue reading →
