Rather than resting on their laurels after two amazing grand finale events in 2009 and 2010, the team at the Ibiza International Music Summit took the closing event to a whole new level in 2011, with not one, but two mammoth events held inside the UNESCO World Heritage Listed walls of Dalt Vila. Thursday night, it was a full scale David Guetta production, complete with quite possibly the most amazing laser display in the world, as the famous Frenchman was joined by Aussie dance duo Nervo and Ibiza resident DJ Andy Baxter on stage, to the delight of his eager fans who’d been waiting for hours to get a glimpse of their hero! Friday night, it was equally as much of a spectacle with Hercules & Love Affair performing live, plus some serious techno courtesy of Dubfire and the famed electro-mash up by 2Manydjs, and of course, the man of the moment, Pete Tong. We can’t even imagine how they’ll top that one next year!
