An all-new concept concept fusing fashion designers, haute couture, art themes, DJs, singers and all-round amazing people, Blanche took place in the sleek and chic bar space of El Hotel, morphing the usually stark, white environment into a hive of activity and colour.
Designer Christine Astruc of Arizona presented her fresh 2010 collection, paraded around the room on a fun red carpet as opposed to a regular runway. Flirty fringed frocks, sassy shorts, stylish jackets, all were her own handmade leather pieces, now available to buy off-the-rack in the new Arizona boutique in the port of Ibiza.
Music came courtesy of DJs Clint Lee, Joan Ribas and vocalist Elena Cristal, while cocktails were being expertly shaken and stirred for the beautiful and thirsty multicultural jet-set crowd (who were relieved to be in an air-conditioned haven while the temps were scorching outside). The good news is, the event will now take place weekly… see you at the next one!
