Traditional church weddings
Ibiza’s gorgeous all-white architecture lends itself spectacularly to wedding photos, and nothing more than the many beautiful churches dotted around the island, contrasting beautifully against the lush green hills and deep blue sea. Of course, there’s quite a lot of footwork involved and it’s definitely not as easy as picking up the phone and making a booking! Requirements vary, depending on the type of ceremony you’ve chosen – your Ibiza wedding planner can point you in the right direction.
Beach weddings
Ibiza is famous for its striking coastline, with over 90 beaches beckoning and vying for your attention, rocky cliffs, crystal waters and pale golden sand and getting married barefoot in the sand is many an Ibiza bride’s dream. While it’s not strictly legal to be married on the beach, it is possible to get married in conjunction with a restaurant or Ibiza wedding venue that has a license to use the beach – which is exactly what you want for the reception anyway, right?

Sunset weddings
The spectacular Ibiza sunset brings a tear to most eyes on any given day, but pair it with a romantic wedding and there won’t be a dry eye in the house! To many, getting married at sunset may sound quite late in the day, but keep in mind the sweltering summer heat and the comfort of your guests, not to mention the fact everything stays open much later here and you’ll easily be persuaded!
